GALILEO WALNUT HARDWOOD
Galileo is the first audio rack created by Gold Note, named after the scientist Galileo Galilei born in the mid-1500s, aiming to commemorate the most inspired doctor, mathematician, astronomer, and engineer of the second millennium.
The Galileo chassis design incorporates details from the best Gold Note turntables (such as Bellagio Conquest and Mediterraneo) to provide excellent damping effect and beautiful unique Italian design.
Its unique shape recalls the grand monuments designed by the great Renaissance master Michelangelo, such as the massive staircase in the Laurentian Library and the tomb of Lorenzo de’ Medici, also designed by Michelangelo. Galileo combines a dreamy elegance with excellent shock absorption through its soft curves and rounded layered corners, thanks to its earthquake-resistant design.
Each shelf consists of two layers of large MDF or Italian walnut hardwood connected with a 3 mm stainless steel layer, fixed together by 16 stainless steel bolts, forming a 45 mm thick 20/25 kg module.
Galileo shelf dimensions are 700 mm wide x 45 mm high x 650 mm deep, and each shelf can hold up to 100 kg of equipment, so our rack can accommodate almost any audio equipment that requires optimal audio quality performance. Aesthetically, it clearly matches our turntables and Hi-Fi electronics, repeating the materials and colors already used in our products.
Galileo provides robust, finely machined aluminum sandglass feet and large interface bronze inserts. Due to the oval shape allowing longitudinal force distribution along the 10 mm feet embedded in the wooden frame, the feet have excellent damping properties, and combined with the 30×48 mm bronze threaded inserts, they achieve even better damping effects.
