AURELLE Centre
The Estelon Aurelle centre speaker delivers natural, unforced dialogue and fine surround detail for high‑performance home theatre systems. Its clarity, tonal balance and timbral neutrality integrate seamlessly with the Aurelle family while its elegant styling allows it to blend unobtrusively into any room décor.
At Estelon we design speakers to work with the listening environment, not against it. Every element of the enclosure and drive‑unit layout is chosen to preserve musical coherence and to minimize interactions that can smear detail.
The Aurelle centre uses a densely braced, sealed‑box enclosure that provides a rigid, non‑resonant platform. The sealed design yields controlled, tight bass and minimizes cabinet coloration while remaining easy to place in typical home theatre locations.
The enclosure is produced using a vacuum‑forming process and filled with carefully selected composite damping materials to eliminate internal standing waves and to absorb unwanted energy.
A curved, non‑parallel internal geometry suppresses internal reflections, while the advanced support and bracing structure guarantees mechanical stiffness and freedom from sympathetic resonance.
Despite its modest size, the cabinet exhibits excellent stiffness‑to‑mass characteristics that allow the drive units to operate with clean, precise transient behaviour.
The Aurelle centre uses dual 132 mm mid/bass drivers
constructed with lightweight paper and fiber composite cones (SB Acoustics Satori).
A 25 mm silk‑dome tweeter (Scan‑Speak Illuminator) provides smooth, extended high‑frequency response and fine transient detail.
The mid/bass units are voiced for natural midrange weight and dynamic authority, while the waveguide and tweeter integration ensure coherent directivity and a seamless high‑frequency transition with wide, controlled dispersion.
Each driver operates in its own optimised cavity with internal damping to suppress spurious resonances, resulting in exceptionally clean, uncoloured output.
The overall result is a centre speaker that offers articulate, natural dialogue reproduction, excellent transient definition and the tonal refinement required to blend with both high‑end stereo and immersive surround systems.
This crossover is hand‑assembled using point‑to‑point wiring and Kubala‑Sosna internal cabling. It is a two‑way design with a crossover frequency of 2.2 kHz and a second‑order (12 dB/octave) slope.
The crossover layout minimizes signal path length to preserve fine detail and reduce losses. Every crossover undergoes electrical verification and extensive critical listening tests.
