KAYA K45
KAYA 45 is designed for everyday spaces and dedicated listening rooms; it is not the star of the room, but rather a part of it. No matter where you place it, KAYA 45 will immerse you in the performance with its focused natural sound and reveal details in your favorite music that are beyond imagination.
New look, same sound.
One of our speakers’ key features is the incredible clarity and definition of the bass. The muddiness and note blurring are a thing of the past: all notes are perfectly separated and clear. This is crucial.
After all, as Debussy (perhaps) said: music is in the gaps between the notes. This clarity is achieved through our patented absorption horn, which eliminates resonance and coloration. In the GIYA series, it is curved over the top of the enclosure, creating a unique contour. For the same reason, KAYA 45 also retains it, but folds it to perfectly fit the enclosure.
Therefore, you can enjoy the same exceptional sound quality from this attractive speaker.
Attractive development
KAYA 45 is a direct descendant of our GIYA speaker and shares many of the same technologies.
This includes the super flux magnets used in the driver units. These radial magnets are still very rare in commercial speakers, with a large hole at the center allowing sound to naturally flow from the diaphragm into the absorber, preventing resonance and reflections.
In GIYA models, we use these magnets in the bass units; for KAYA, we also install them in the midrange units. Here, they reduce distortion and enhance high-frequency performance. And it proves that you really can make good things better.
Form follows function
KAYA 45 can easily fill the sound in the largest room. Compared to the four-way GIYA, it produces a slightly more directional sound field; this is mainly due to its function as a three-way speaker, where the high-frequency sound is projected forward rather than to the sides.
Therefore, the sound is more focused, helping to listen more attentively. For home theaters, accurate sound source localization is a core element of the overall experience, so it is absolutely the ideal choice.
