Dynamic Cartridge
We at ZYX have designed numerous cartridges. However, the Ultimate DYNAMIC design is the first model to incorporate a magnetic circuit, which differs significantly from previous models.
As the coil form is made from non-magnetic material, the signal output is only one-sixth of the desired level. Therefore, to achieve the correct signal level, we must employ a larger magnet and increase the coil windings by a factor of three.
The Ultimate DYNAMIC model was conceived because its non-magnetic coil frame resembles the cutting stylus on a record-cutting machine.
The stylus is, of course, the C-1000 carbon stylus, and the non-magnetic coil form is also crafted from a rigid, lightweight composite carbon fibre plate.
When listening to the Ultimate DYNAMIC model, one is left for words to describe its exceptional sound quality.
Composite Carbon Fibre Terminal Board
This is the world’s first rigid terminal board, employed as a terminal board to secure output terminals and statically anchor the unit, thereby preventing any form of external vibration.
Furthermore, this terminal board can be earthed to the phono stage amplifier via the ground wire from the right-channel output.
You must eliminate capacitance between the four terminal pins to hear the purest sound.
The world’s first C-1000 carbon stylus in a moving coil cartridge
ZYX Ultimate Series (100, Airy, 4D, OMEGA and DYNAMIC) pioneers the use of carbon stylus rods in moving coil cartridges. The carbon rod is crafted from 1000 composite carbon fibres, hence the designation C-1000 carbon stylus rod.
This composite carbon fibre is harder than aluminium, iron, and titanium. Moreover, its specific gravity is merely half that of boron. Consequently, we can confidently assert that the C-1000 carbon stylus is the ultimate and ideal stylus material for analogue record playback.
The carbon stylus affords us the widest frequency range and outstanding tracking performance. Another major advantage is that the mechanical sound signal picked up at the stylus tip travels through the 1000 mechanical carbon filaments in a perfectly straight and direct manner to the coil. This ensures a mechanical sound signal that is entirely free from reflections, repetitions, or modulations. The overall result is that you will enjoy the highest quality, most natural, dynamic, and authentic sound source you have ever experienced.
REAL STEREO Cartridge
Key design points 11, 12, and 13 impose highly complex electrical performance requirements on the human body. A non-metallic body incorporating two distinct hard materials is essential to achieve these characteristics, prevent external interference affecting the generator system, and also guard against eddy currents forming on the body surface during generator output signal generation and resonance occurrence within the generator.
Ultra-High-Speed Replication Engine
This circuitry undergoes specialised processing to eliminate magnetic resistance within the air gap, enabling direct high-speed signal generation across the entire bandwidth without temporal delay. Furthermore, the circuitry perfectly eradicates any residual eddy currents from the primary circuit.
Micro-Ridge
The diamond-tipped stylus ultimately employs a diamond handle edge parallel to the side of the stylus shaft. Utilising this type of stylus tip allows alignment with the crystal’s hardest axis to serve as the contact point with the recording groove. This achieves stable, smooth tracking and produces exceptionally refined sound, with the added benefit of extending stylus tip life by 2000 hours.
The Micro-ridge stylus, originally developed in Japan, represents the pinnacle of performance. Its 6μm-thick convex ridge maintains a consistent contact radius of 3μm.

This flawless crystal copper wire is crafted through a specialised process to achieve uniform sonic balance across the entire audible spectrum.
