Product Inquiry
Welcome to inquire if you have any product questions.

The Sakra V16 differs from the original Sakra in several important ways. The cable exhibits clear directional behavior because both its internal and external geometries are non‑cylindrical, and we have adopted a new “variable cross‑section” conductor profile — a topology in which the conductor’s transverse shape and effective length change along its run. This approach was used to improve impedance matching between source and load.

Subjectively, these constructional changes yield a more relaxed, natural midrange and a smoother, more saturated treble that sounds fuller and more effortless. At the same time, the original Sakra retains slightly higher measured resolution and translucency in some systems.

Because of the geometric revisions, Sakra V16’s voicing is inherently more relaxed and natural‑sounding even out of the box; after extended break‑in (we observed improvements beyond 1,000 hours with the original Sakra), the V16 continues to mature but is already noticeably coherent and complete from the start. In addition, Sakra V16’s resolving power and overall transparency match or exceed the original Sakra in many systems.

In short: Sakra V16 is a distinctly improved cable — the best interconnect topology we introduced from 2022 onward for our flagship reference series.

Over recent years we continuously refined the Indra topology, believing Indra to be the pinnacle of our interconnect work. As with all our lines, each update produced a new “version.” Indra evolved through multiple iterations, each delivering incremental improvements while retaining the family’s fundamental character. Sakra is an outgrowth of that development, but it is not merely a higher‑spec Indra — Sakra uses different conductor choices and materials that produce a different overall voicing. Our listening and measurement comparisons, blind evaluations, and feedback from experienced users convinced us that Sakra offered distinct advantages in key areas while preserving the musical virtues of Indra.

Performance highlights of Sakra V16
Improved low‑frequency extension and weight, with better control and textural definition.
Richer, more saturated tonal character and more natural midrange presence, without sacrificing system clarity.
Excellent transparency and midband purity — in many systems the V16 produces greater perceived resolution and tonal refinement than previous Sakra versions.

The V16’s more relaxed presentation often results in a more musically satisfying balance: greater fullness and musicality while retaining detail and imaging.

Sakra V16 delivers greater sense of layering, wider soundstaging, and a clearer, more authoritative presentation; in many systems replacing Indra with Sakra produces the effect of adding a high‑quality preamplifier — much like connecting a DAC directly to a power amplifier.

We will continue to analyze and publish collected reviews and add further commentary. In the meantime, prior to Sakra’s formal launch we recommend contacting your Stealth dealer to discuss special upgrade pricing for moving from Indra to Sakra — this is a substantial upgrade opportunity.

Key design highlights

Non‑crystalline conductor medium (conductor)
Homogeneous, grain‑free conductor structure — electrically uniform in all directions because it lacks a conventional crystalline grain structure.

  • Ultra‑fine conductor gauge
    Individual conductor diameters down to 0.001 in. (one‑thousandth of an inch). Extremely fine conductors are important because they:Minimise skin‑effect related loss (improving mid‑ and high‑frequency transparency);
    • Minimise inter‑strand capacitance (which helps preserve clarity, tight low end and imaging);
    • Reduce small‑signal distortion (contributing to clean, articulate bass and pure, unhyped highs).
    • Distributed Litz topology within the practical cable geometry
  • Where appropriate, Stealth employs proprietary distributed Litz constructions to combine the benefits of many fine strands while optimising electrical symmetry and reducing high‑frequency losses.
    Proprietary variable/segregated Litz approach
Stealth’s form of “variable” or segmented Litz: discrete, individually insulated strand bundles that are combined and arranged to eliminate direct strand‑to‑strand contact where undesirable — effectively allowing the cable to behave electrically like a single, larger conductor where beneficial while retaining the advantages of many fine strands.
    Non‑ferrous multi‑element assemblies
Stealth’s multi‑element configurations avoid ferromagnetic materials and exploit the advantages of several independently optimised conductor assemblies.

    Vibration and microphonic control
The distributed Litz and strand geometry also provide inherent mechanical damping advantages.
  • Electrostatic and dielectric management
The distributed Litz architecture assists in controlling dielectric effects and their influence on HF behaviour.
  • Ultra-low‑energy dielectric system: STEALTH ultra‑vacuum (argon) plus multi‑porous aerogel
Stealth’s ultra‑vacuum argon environment combined with multi‑porous aerogel dielectrics represents a principal technological advantage of Sakra over Indra. The multi‑porous aerogel exhibits one of the lowest dielectric constants and the lowest effective dielectric loss among both solid and semi‑solid insulating materials. The result is a very low effective permittivity and minimal stored energy — which translates to low loss, low dielectric dispersion and fast propagation characteristics. The dielectric performance of the argon‑filled vacuum and porous aerogel assembly exceeds that of conventional porous PTFE, air, and in many respects rivals commercial vacuum systems.
  • Proprietary STEALTH connectors and mechanical construction: Stealth’s custom connectors are manufactured to extremely tight tolerances, finished to an exceptionally high standard, and feature precision silver contact surfaces. Housings are machined and finished with PTFE (special‑grade ePTFE) liners, Kevlar‑reinforced composite frames, and carbon‑fibre or stainless‑steel outer shells as specified.
  • Advanced termination technique (high‑pressure, cryogenic solderless contact)
Stealth uses a direct, high‑integrity contact methodology that avoids intermediate soldered joints — providing seamless conductor‑to‑contact continuity without the electrical compromises associated with traditional soldered terminations.

RCA connector mating procedure (important)

When connecting Sakra cables equipped with Stealth RCA terminations, please apply steady axial insertion force to ensure the male RCA sleeve is fully and evenly engaged with the mating RCA jack (do not insert at an angle). Insert the plug until you feel it seat; you may initially encounter firm resistance — this is intentional to ensure positive mechanical and electrical contact. If the jack has shallow recessing (or if the system rack restricts full frontal access), you may need to partially retract or loosen a chassis trim ring to allow full insertion depth. Proper seating ensures the precision spring contacts make complete surface contact and prevents incremental contact resistance or microphonic issues.

Sakra V16 is offered in classic matte black plus carbon‑fibre and stainless‑steel accent finishes. We produce multiple cosmetic variants of Sakra V16 to match customer system aesthetics and preference.

STEALTH AUDIO - USA

"State of the art" in high-end audio cabling is our focus in STEALTH Audio cables. This goal is achieved through the refinement of all design elements: the use of highly complex non-resonant and impedance matching, multi-layer and multi-core cable geometries, and state-of-the-art conductive dielectrics: carbon fiber-based conductive composites, high-purity silver and pure solid gold wire, single-crystal metal alloys, and most exotic of all: amorphous metal alloys. Our top-of-the-line cables utilize helium as the dielectric and terminate in no-cost custom proprietary connectors with solid silver contacts, a Kevlar composite insert for added strength, and an ultra-modified PTFE body, enclosed in a carbon fiber shell and reinforced with machined titanium alloy.
