VARIDIG V16-T SELECT S/PDIF AES/EBU
Varidig V16-T has a STEALTH Tuning ring**,Varidig V16(without“ T”)has no that ring
The special feature of the Varidig V16-T Select is that it’s all about tolerance.
Even the best components, the best wire, and the best insulation—everything has tolerances, and many parameters exhibit some degree of variation, either below or above the optimal value. This variation exists in unterminated wire, in the terminals used for termination, and in fully assembled cables.
Sound
Due to the advantages of its design, Varidig allows more digital information from the source to reach the destination without distortion, and this is audible: subjectively, reducing or eliminating reflections in digital cables results in a quieter background, a cleaner overall sound, and improved “focus” and “attack.” Generally, the more advanced and sophisticated the equipment used, the better the results achieved with Varidig cables.
Stealth Tuning Ring
Based on extensive listening sessions with various equipment, the tuning ring of the STEALTH “T” cable is positioned optimally, and its overall effect (on sound) is better than that of a cable without the ring. However – when the ring is positioned incorrectly, the sound is worse than that of a cable without the ring.
The optimal tuning ring position for the best sound varies for every two devices connected by the cable, making it impossible to point to the same position (location) for the ring to achieve the same sound as without the ring.
Finding the optimal position for the ring is a lengthy process that requires some time and patience. It often requires two people (one listening, the other moving the ring). It is best to have several people listening together.)
